Quick Hits: Reminders

There is a lot of beer related activities going on this week, and two are specifically local.
- First, tonight there is a Beer Tasting featuring Ska Beers at the Petrol Station. While not a beer dinner per se there will be plenty of BBQ. Tickets are 45.00. Not sure if they are sold out yet or not, but if you're interested you can check out the calendar on the right hand side of the page for more info.
- Second, a reminder that Friday is Session Day. The theme is Think/drink Globally. Write about the brewery you have gone the farthest to visit.
- Lastly this Sunday is the 15th Anniversary of Houston's very own Saint Arnold's brewery. 15 years is quite an accomplishment. They are holding a party at the brewery from 1pm to 4pm. Should be a good time of BBQ and beer, plus the beer Olympics!

Ska Brewing from Durango, CO? That's interesting - have they always been in your market?

I never heard if you tried the vermouth on tap in Spain. My colleague also just returned from Spain WITHOUT trying the vermouth so your my last hope of receiving any report!

Yup the Ska is one and the same. It started coming here about a month or so ago so not too long.
Yes tried the Vermouth, it actually comes out of a cask and is gravity poured. We only really saw it in Grenada. it was really good, served on ice mostly with a slice of orange.
